Japanese name/ <乱菊> (Rangiku)

Itō Jakuchū was a Japanese painter of the mid-Edo period when Japan had closed its doors to the outside world. Many of his paintings concern traditionally Japanese subjects. He particularly excelled in drawing flowers, fish, and birds, especially fowl, which he used to keep at his home in order to observe them closely. Jakuchu was born in Nishiki Kyoto. We made 2 designs of Jakuchu artwork for cerebrating 300 anniversary of the birth of Ito Jakuchu. (Co-operation with Kyoto Hosomi Museum)
