Gion Daruma

Black and white coloring page with stylized ocean waves. Gakunami Wave pattern
Black and white illustration featuring traditional Japanese symbols like lucky cats, Daruma dolls with the kanji for luck, shrimp with skull faces, cranes with skulls, skulls, money bags, and small coins scattered throughout. Lucky Daruma pattern

This design is a collaboration with the tattoo studio "Gion Daruma."

Tattoos have been used in ceremonies and as talismans and customs around the world since ancient times. Over time, they have evolved into a sophisticated cultural art form.

The “Gakunami Wave” and “Lucky Daruma” patterns that are characteristic of Japanese tattoo artists are created using Yuzen dyeing techniques.
