New Release : Cotton Dress Collection
As the seasons begin to shift and gentle breezes fill the air, we are pleased to introduce our newest cotton dress collection, featuring three new patterns alongside two beloved re-issued cotton one-piece designs.
Crafted from soft and breathable cotton fabric, each dress is designed to provide natural comfort with a light sense of warmth, making them ideal for slightly cool and breezy days. The relaxed silhouettes allow for effortless movement while maintaining an elegant and timeless atmosphere suitable for everyday wear.
This season’s new patterns include the graceful “Dairingiku,” inspired by large blooming chrysanthemums with a refined classical beauty. In the language of flowers, the chrysanthemum symbolizes devoted love, loyalty, happiness, longevity, and joy, making this design both elegant and deeply meaningful.
“Japanese Irises” expresses the calm elegance and seasonal charm of iris flowers. This exquisite pattern was inspired by “Irises at Yatsuhashi (Eight Bridges),” a celebrated pair of six-panel folding screens by renowned Japanese artist Ogata Korin (1658–1716) of the Rimpa school, now housed in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Born and raised in Kyoto, Korin became an official painter for the imperial court in 1701, and this masterpiece is believed to have been created shortly after receiving that honor.
“Peony and Korin Chrysanthemum” is a richly decorative design blending noble peonies with the artistic aesthetics associated with traditional Korin-style motifs. Often referred to as the “king of flowers,” the peony has long symbolized wealth, honor, prosperity, and graceful beauty within Japanese art and culture.
Alongside these new additions, we are also bringing back the much-loved “Lily with Morning Dew” pattern as a re-issued cotton one-piece design. Its delicate lilies and softly scattered morning dew create a refreshing and graceful impression that continues to be cherished season after season.
