Textile and Dyeing

Pagong's special fabrics are dyed by hand, one color at a time, by the artisans at Kamedatomi Dye Factory.
You can enjoy the quality of Kyoto's long-established dyers from the texture, pattern, and color of the fabric.

Locally Produced

Pagon fabric is created from the Kyoto Yuzen dyeing process used to make kimonos.
Made in Kyoto is a result of the relationship that has continued since the founding of Kamedatomi Dyeing Factory.
The quality of Pagong is supported by the high level of skill of the craftsmen in each process.
