-About-
“Sanbaso” is the name of a Noh performance for which this pattern was worn. Within the play is a dynamic ritual dance, performed for invoking an abundant harvest of five special types of grain, as well as the wish for hope and peace.
The style of this pattern is quite bold and modern, depicting a crane with pine trees, both auspicious symbols for long life.
