In Japan, heavy snow is considered to be a good omen for a rich harvest of rice, for melted snow provides an abundant supply of water.

In 2020, Pagong participated in a project launched by the Kyoto City Industrial Technologies Laboratory. The project’s objective was to introduce to the modern world, traditional Noh theatre costumes from the Hayashibara Museum of Art collection.
